Dr Courtney Barnes is leading the third update of a Cochrane "living systematic review" examining the impact of interventions to prevent or stop e-cigarettes use among children and adolescents.
With adolescent e-cigarette use on the rise, identifying and implementing evidence-based interventions is essential to improve public health outcomes.
The update includes the results of three published studies. Currently, the search has also identified 35 studies that are underway (30 ongoing and 5 awaiting classification).
This review will be kept in 'living' format, meaning that the team will continue to conduct monthly searches, allowing the review to be continuously and rapidly updated as new evidence emerges.
This study is part of the SPARKE research collaboration.
